How to choose Spiral Coiled Cable
Different material for choice:
● PVC Insulation: PVC spiral cable: thermoplastic polyvinyl chloride, cost is low，density is a little bigger than PE.PVC is widely used for different sizes of core,no matter small size cable like 0.25mm or big size cable 4.0mm.
● PE insulation:price is a little higher than PVC,density is smaller than PVC, insulation property is better than PVC,other characters are similar with PVC.For very small size such as 0.1mm AWG26 AWG24 spiral coiled cable, insulation can choose PE.
● Sheath/Jacket material for 3 core Coiled Cable
PVC: low cost, Not too flexible.Elasticity and Resilience of coil can not keep long life.It can be used for power cord for short stretching distance.
TPE sheath: flexible, price is higher than PVC and lower than PUR.TPE coil spiral cable can be considered if you want flexible curly spiral cable.
PUR jacket sheath: flexible, PUR coiled curly spiral cable has excellent characters.Price is higher than PVC.But Elasticity and Resilience of coil is the best among different sheath material. It is water resistant,oil resistance, the coiled cable can be used for indoors and outdoors.It can resist high temperature 90℃ and cold low temperature -65℃.
