What is the structure of the control cable

The structure of the control cable is generally composed of conductors, insulation, shielding, sheath and armor. The conductor is the main part of the cable, usually using copper or aluminum as a material, depending on different uses, can have a single or multi-core form. Insulation is to isolate electrical contact between conductors and between conductors and the outside world, usually using plastics such as polyvinyl chloride or cross-linked polyethylene as materials. Shielding is to prevent the cable from external electromagnetic interference or interference to the outside world, usually using metal materials such as copper wire, copper strip or aluminum-plastic composite tape as a shielding layer. The sheath is designed to protect the cable from mechanical damage, chemical corrosion and environmental effects, and is usually made of plastics such as polyvinyl chloride or rubber. Armoring is to enhance the mechanical strength and external force resistance of the cable, usually using metal materials such as steel tape or steel wire as armoring layer.
